Feel at home on the Hill in Manhattan Beach, where space and views are bountiful. This small affluent section called simply, the Hill Section, include some of the highest valued properties in Manhattan Beach. Here, homes offer budding families significantly more space for residents to spread their wings. On average, lots here run between 5,000-10,000 square feet mimicking some strand properties, yet for a better price and larger outdoor spaces.
Swimming pools and yards are found more frequently versus almost anywhere else on the west side of Manhattan Beach. Beautifully landscaped yards provide the perfect space for hosting large parties and events. Sport courts and pool houses often dawn the yards here, and with extra wide streets, your guests will have no problem finding parking, unlike most sections this close to the beach.
Views from the Hill Section are incredible. Breathtaking vistas of the Pacific Ocean can be had from almost anywhere, often 360 degrees from Palos Verdes to Malibu and even city views of downtown Los Angeles. On clear days, Catalina also can be enjoyed across the sparkling ocean.
Exercising on the beach or strand is possible by just a short walk down the hill. Often, many hill dwellers will opt to exercise on the nearby Green Belt, a lovely tree-lined walking path that runs from North Sepulveda in Manhattan Beach, to the border of Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach. Along the Green Belt are benches for relaxing and parkettes for exercise. The hill is also home to Larson Parkette, a small park at the top of the hill which is perfect for that quick afternoon outing for little ones.
The ever so quaint downtown Manhattan Beach filled with cafes; boutiques and entertainment are still considered walkable from the hill. Now, with the Downtowner electric car shuttle service, getting into town is even more accessible. Equally accessible to Hill Section folks are the vast amount of coffee shops, Pilates studios, and restaurants that run up and down Sepulveda. This eastern border offers oodles of shops and design studios all right at one’s backdoor.
Award-winning Robinson Elementary, a California Blue Ribbon school, is just at the bottom of the hill making morning drop off and afternoon pick up close and convenient. The Hill Section is also close proximity to Mira Costa High School and relatively close to Manhattan Beach Middle School as well.
It is quite easy to see that one really has it all on the hill; views yet with privacy, yards, pools plenty of square footage as well as easy access to the beach and restaurants.
